Evaluation Process

The FTMO Challenge consists of two steps. **Step 1 (Challenge)**: Profit target 10%, Max daily loss 5%, Max total loss 10%. Duration is unlimited, minimum 4 trading days. **Step 2 (Verification)**: Profit target reduced to 5%, same loss limits. Once passed, you become an FTMO Trader with up to 90% profit split.

FTMO offers two main account modes. The **Standard** account offers 1:100 leverage but restricts holding trades over the weekend and trading high-impact news. The **Swing** account has lower leverage (1:30) but allows weekend holding and news trading, making it ideal for longer-term strategies.
